My attempts at poetry.

IF YOU KNEW IT WAS THE LAST TIME

That day in the club just playing some pool

Your brother as always playing the fool

Your dad watches on trying not to take sides

But that look on his face it struggles to hide

His frustration at you for not being kind

You win every frame and gloat and mock

Your own little brother looks ready to pop

You take all his money and walk away

If only you knew what would happen the next day

There will be no more chances to show him you care

You just assumed he would always be there

Rest in peace little brother of mine

It would be so different if you knew it was the last time
